The Development Ministry began almost fifteen years ago to assist the Sisters with enhancement of their ministries, to care for retired Sisters and to maintain the facilities. This dynamic program has helped raise friends and funds to meet the ongoing needs of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tipton, Indiana in helping the ‘dear neighbor.’ The Sisters are able to sustain their ministries because people believe in their work and are willing to walk alongside them. Indeed, the Development Ministry exists to seek necessary resources (time, talent and tithe) through charitable giving. It is a desire on the part of others to be of help that ensures the ministries of the Sisters will continue "to unite all persons with God and with one another."
