Choosing to partner with the Sisters is a powerful way to make a difference, and is an affirmation of the ministries that engage the Sisters . . . today and tomorrow. However you decide to help, your thoughtful consideration is deeply appreciated. One may choose to give in several ways: Time and talent ~ through the grace of God, many friends choose to lend their hearts and hands to help the Sisters meet the needs of the ‘dear neighbor’ . . . and the ministries grow. Cash ~ this is the most common method of giving, for very good reason . . . it’s simple, straightforward and as easy as writing a check. The donor gains charitable gift tax deductions or credits. Annuity Trust ~ one of the easiest planned giving options when the desire is to give more than one has readily available in cash. This option offers a fixed percentage income for life to the donor and the Sisters receive the amount left after the donor’s death. This is a very attractive way to aid a charitable cause and guarantee oneself a bi-annual income for life as well as tax credits. Wills and Bequests ~ many choose to leave a portion of their estate through their will. A bequest allows a donor to leave a specific amount, percentage or residual of their estate to the Sisters.
Life
Insurance ~
often used to designate a charitable agency, such as the Sisters of St.
Joseph, as a beneficiary of their life insurance. One may choose the
